I just uploaded to the "other stuff" page a Columbia University beamer theme I made for my presentations. Check it out if you think it might be useful for your presentations or to create your own theme.

Catching Up

posted Jun 20, 2012, 7:48 PM by Rodrigo A. Carrasco

I haven't posted anything here since September! But I have several great excuses for not doing so. First I've been finishing a couple of papers which hopefully will be ready before the summer is over... and second and more importantly I will have a daughter in October! Yay

I also got a new medium format film camera (a Mamiya Rb67 Pro-S), that despite being about 30 years old it works like a charm. I can even use my speedlite, and it has the same filter thread as my current lenses, so ND and CPL filters all work perfectly.

Best of all, the negatives are so big that even scanning them a normal resolutions end up in 30+ MP images, enough to print walls.

I also retook the task of keeping my weekly image post in G+, so in a follow-up post I'll put all the images I've shared so far, or you can just jump to G+ and check my Favourite Pixels album.
